State success on production budget
There were seven awards in 2010 to New Visions/New Mexico winners – those with asterisks (*) are also winners of the 2010 Panavision camera package:
Peter Kershaw - What?($20,000 award)* so, we also gained the $10,000 Panavision package award.
This means, we can now focus on raising money for post-production and that WHAT? will go ahead and into production in 2011 as planned. This success was made possible thanks to those whom have and will be supporting us as donors without whom, we couldn't have demonstrated support - thank you on behalf of the cast & crew and future audiences for helping to make this potential, an actual. Leticia Cortez was born in Guanajuato, México and grew up in Chicago. As she grew older, reading and writing became her escape. At a city college she met a teacher who encouraged her to write and soon discovered poetry through writing short stories. She studied Literature and Science at The University of Illinois in Chicago and would later teach both subjects for over a decade at Truman College. Since 2009 she has resided in Santa Fe. She edited and co-funded the bilingual publication ¿Hasta Cuándo? which is now online. She writes poetry, book reviews and articles for Polvo, Area, Lumpen times and Contratiempo magazines. Considering poetry as a form of expression that crosses cultures as well as space and time, her poetry is a process of thoughts and images, which arrange themselves in words and worlds.

Theater Grottesco creates a new kind of performance that is visual, explosive and full of surprise. The Grottesco Ensemble
rekindles interest in live performance by juxtaposing classical and modern theatrical styles with a daring, poetic research of
culture and imagination, giving voice to the marginal elements of our contemporary society, and taking audiences to the brink of emotional wonder and soulful reflection.

New Mexico actress joins film cast
Lily a recent graduate of Drew University, with a B.A. Theatre Arts, 2010 spent time on the British American Drama Academy Summer 2009 and New York University-Tisch School of the Arts Summer 2008 in Dublin.
Director Peter Kershaw said of Liliana, "When I first meet Lily I knew she had the exact quality I'd been looking for in the character of Jessica. She has to play someone a little younger but in only a few scenes establish the sense of threat that underlines our comedy and Lily's theatre background is perfect for doing this."
"On top of which Lily has spent time as an actor in the UK & Ireland so she'll even understand my accent which has to be a bonus!"
